Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated August 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs the use of Hadlo Technologies, LLC (Hadlo) wholesale voice, numbering, messaging and related services. By using our services, you and your downstream customers agree to comply with this policy. Hadlo is built for legitimate, clean conversational traffic, and this policy exists to keep our network that way.

1. Legitimate traffic only

Hadlo services may be used only to originate, carry, or terminate lawful voice, messaging and related traffic. You are responsible for the traffic you send us and for the conduct of your downstream customers.

2. Prohibited use

You may not use Hadlo services, and may not permit others to use them, to:

  • Originate or transmit illegal robocalls, unlawful automated calls, or traffic that violates the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Truth in Caller ID Act, or other applicable law.
  • Transmit calls with false, misleading, inaccurate, or unlawfully spoofed caller identification, or calls that falsely purport to originate from a government agency, financial institution, or other entity.
  • Engage in fraud, phishing, vishing, or any scheme intended to deceive or defraud call recipients.
  • Send traffic that you know or should know is associated with unlawful telemarketing, harassment, or unwanted communications.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with STIR/SHAKEN authentication, robocall mitigation, or other network security and compliance controls.

3. STIR/SHAKEN and caller identity

You must accurately represent caller identity and must not sign, or request signing of, calls in a manner inconsistent with the FCC call authentication rules, including the prohibition on signing unaffiliated third-party traffic with another provider certificate. Where you have a STIR/SHAKEN obligation, you are responsible for your own attestation decisions.

4. Do-Not-Originate and required lists

You must use a Do-Not-Originate (DNO) list and honor applicable Do-Not-Call requirements. You must maintain your own acceptable use policy with your downstream customers no less protective than this AUP.

5. Traceback cooperation

You must respond promptly and completely to traceback requests from the Industry Traceback Group (ITG) and to lawful requests from Hadlo, law enforcement, or regulators, and you must require your upstream traffic sources to do the same.

6. Know Your Customer and Upstream

You must take reasonable steps to verify the identity of your customers and the legitimacy of the traffic sources you accept, consistent with FCC Know Your Customer and Know Your Upstream Provider expectations.

7. Enforcement

Hadlo may investigate suspected violations and may throttle, block, suspend, or terminate traffic or services that violate this policy, that are the subject of tracebacks or enforcement actions, that involve demonstrated illegal or fraudulent traffic, or where a customer is delisted from the Robocall Mitigation Database. Where practical, Hadlo will provide notice, but may act immediately where required to protect the network, comply with law, or prevent harm.

8. Changes

Hadlo may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
